Selling land for development in Stratford-on-Avon

For landowners in the Stratford-on-Avon District Council area. Local plan status checked against council sources on 12 October 2026.

In short: if you own a field, paddock or larger parcel in Stratford-on-Avon, a land promoter may be willing to fund the planning work at no upfront cost to you. We can introduce you to one. Nothing happens without your agreement.

Where the local plan stands

Stratford-on-Avon is preparing the joint South Warwickshire Local Plan with Warwick District. It will replace the strategic policies of the Stratford-on-Avon Core Strategy (to 2031). The final (Regulation 19) consultation closed on 8 September 2026, and submission for examination is targeted by 31 December 2026.

How an introduction works

Tell us roughly where your land is and its size. We do some free desk checks, then, if it looks promising and you agree, we introduce you to a land promoter who works in the area. Their fee comes from the eventual sale, and our fee is paid by the promoter. Always take independent legal advice before signing anything. More on how land promotion works.
